1. Download the Driver Update Utility for IBM.

How to Install Drivers

I would like to inform you that I have upgraded one of my laptop's (IBM THinkpad R52) to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Professional and after that I had to downgrade to Windows 7 for a reason that I have explained to one of my previous posts. After that I have upgraded it again but for one more time I had to downgrade. That time the PC could not restart and I had to format it and install Windows 7 and all the programs and drivers from scratch.

The reason I am writing to you now is the following. I know that you are working hard so that the majority of the existing PCs can upgrade to Windows 10.

When I have reinstalled Windows 7 and all the programs and drivers on the above mentioned PC I got the Windows 10 upgrade reservation icon, saying that my PC is fully compatible and can be upgraded to Windows 10. After some time this icon was changed, telling me something else which is the following:

Today the icon has completely gone.

Will you make it real and do what you are promising i.e., make Windows 10 compatible with Windows 10? Is a pity that for display reasons this IBM PC cannot be upgraded, because it really has all the other necessary requirement/specifications.

Can somebody from Microsoft team please answer my question?
